Brady Corporation announced in late May its acquisition of Magicard Limited, a leader of ID card-printing technologies with a full range of high-quality desktop identification card printers.

Magicard printers are trusted among corporations, schools, governments, and large institutions around the world. Magicard printers are renowned for their built-in card security features, including the patented Holokote^® secure visual watermark which makes it virtually impossible to counterfeit ID cards. Magicard specializes in high-resolution, full-color image capabilities, and the ability to encode smart cards. The Magicard portfolio also includes TrustID desktop ID card issuance and Securicard smart cards.

This acquisition allows Brady dealers to grow their ID card printing business by becoming an authorized reseller of the Magicard line of printers by working with their Brady account manager or Magicard account manager. Likewise, Magicard customers can benefit from new access to a leading line of ID accessories.
