What is TRUECOLOR digital printing, and why does it make custom products better?

TRUECOLOR digital printing is a new customization method perfect for smooth surfaces. Our digital printers apply ink directly to the surface of a product, with the printer curing and drying the ink as it moves along.

The printers customize products in large batches, producing dozens of custom goods at a time. Unlike screen printing or similar customization methods, TRUECOLOR digital printing uses four color ink cartridges that combine to create hundreds of different unique colors, providing lifelike detail and printed graphics that are more true to the original.

Custom products created using TRUECOLOR digital printing outshine similar products in a number of ways:

Color: Previously, customization on our badge holders was limited to a single color, and custom badge reels required an adhesive label. While these customization methods are effective, the monochrome logos and images printed on the holders didn’t stand out or catch the eye, and the adhesive graphics weren’t as compelling as they could have been. With TRUECOLOR digital printing, you can offer your customers attention-getting, full-color, highly detailed custom products.
Detail: Our high-tech TRUECOLOR digital printers are able to print detailed images and text. Unlike other customization methods, where letters or images can appear distorted, TRUECOLOR digital printing is able to capture the small details in a logo or graphic for the most realistic images possible.
Options: TRUECOLOR digital printing provides flexibility for you and your customers. Products can be printed in full color, allowing for many different designs. The customization method is currently available on horizontal and vertical rigid card holders and several styles of badge reel. We will be expanding the method to additional products in the coming weeks, providing even more choice.
Durability: With TRUECOLOR digital printing, the ink is applied directly to the product’s surface, where it is then cured immediately with UV light. This leads to a durable, long-lasting printed image, one that will stand up to the wear and tear of daily use with minimal damage, fading or smudging.
